Zoom In:
Zoom in for a closer look around the point on the map you chose by clicking. You will see a smaller area, but all the map features will look bigger!
Zoom Out:
Zoom out to see a larger area around the point on the map you chose by clicking. The features on the map will look smaller.
Initial Map:
This tool will re-initialize the map back to map you started with before using any of the other map tools.
Centre map on selected point:
After selecting this tool, you can click on a point on the map that you would like to see at the centre of the map display area.
Display Report:
If you select this tool, you can then click on one of the COOL points -- the light purple dots -- and details about the selected COOL organization, venue or service will appear.
Identify:
Display the information from the "shape file" for the selected COOL point. This tool will only produce information for the COOL points layer.
View map above:
After selecting this tool, a new map will be generated with the old centre point shifted southward. You'll see a new part of the map that was north of the display area.
View map below:
After selecting this tool, a new map will be generated with the old centre point shifted northward. You'll see a new part of the map that was south of the display area.
View map to right:
After selecting this tool, a new map will be generated with the old centre point shifted westward. You'll see a new part of the map that was east of the display area.
View map to left:
After selecting this tool, a new map will be generated with the old centre point shifted eastward. You'll see a new part of the map that was west of the display area.
Print Map Frame:
This tool allows you to print just the map display area currently shown on the webpage.
Printer-friendly map:
This tool produces a printer-friendly page with the map display area and the legend.
